HIGHWAY

Carlin is located in northeast Nevada, Elko County, on I-80, approximately midway between Reno, NV and Salt Lake City, UT. Elko, NV, our closest neighbor, is located 20 miles to the east. I-80 stretches from the West Coast to East Coast. US 93 is 70 miles to the east, which leads to Las Vegas and Twin Falls and is know as a NAFTA corridor. US 93 stretches from Canada to Mexico.

There are general aviation hangers and tie downs located on the east end of the airport. The facility is equipped to manage an aircraft the size of a B757. The new Air Carrier Passenger Terminal is 20,000 square feet.

UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD: The City of Carlin is dissected by the Union Pacific Railroad, which travels west/east. There are several spurs along the route through Carlin and the overall route runs from Oakland to Chicago and branches off along the Western Coastline from Southern California to Seattle, WA.
